I am a photographer with a European, Australian and Canadian background. My key interests are people and the landscape around us – especially the objects in the background – or if you like in the foreground – it is just a matter of where we are standing!

In my eyes, nobody is uninteresting or unphotogenic and no part of our world is not worth being photographed. Sometimes it is what we can’t see or don't want to see what should be seen! What drives my work: it is the interaction between the frozen history of engineered objects or the earth’s development and the living history of people within our environment. Those apparent contradistinctions comprise the most interesting motifs. Sometimes it is frozen history alone – if you like you can call it akinesic – sometimes living history – or kinesic – by itself that drives my finger down to the shutter.
